This glycerite mixture is used as a first line of defence against infections involving the ear, nose or throat. It can be taken as prevention or when you are feeling at your most vulnerable, for example, during the change of seasons or when the body is exhausted. It is also useful when exposed to infectious agents or an epidemic. Its components tone the immune system, in addition to being antibacterial, antiseptic and antiviral. This mixture therefore offers direct and overall action and can be used for up to 8 weeks.
If the infection becomes virulent and resists treatment, it can be combined with goldenseal glycerite to heighten the bactericidal effect and obtain more effective results. Note, however, that if the infection becomes violent, fever continues unabated for a long period and the patient becomes very weak, it is important to consult a health care professional. This mixture can be given to support the immune system even when an illness is being treated with antibiotics.

Ingredients
Each ml of Echinacea-Propolis contains: Purple echinacea fresh organic root Echinacea purpurea 216 mg 1:3 Narrow-leaf echinacea fresh organic root Echinacea angustifolia 53 mg 1:3 Propolis organic resin 8.5 mg 1:5 Non-medicinal ingredients: pure vegetable glycerine, water and 95% organic alcohol. Traditionally used in Western herbalism to treat colds, the flu and infections, more specifically respiratory tract infections.
Dosage:
Adults: 2 ml (40 drops), 2 to 4 times daily. Children (7-12 years): 1 ml (20 drops), 2 to 4 times daily. Children (2-7 years): 0.75 ml (15 drops), 2 to 4 times daily. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen or if taking immunosuppressants. Do not take if allergic to bee products, conifer or poplar resin.
Treatment: 15-30 drops, 1-3 times per day, for a maximum of 8 weeks.
Intervention dose for children (2-12 yrs) - 2 drops per age, 3-5 times per day, for a maximum of 1 week.
Treatment dose for children (5-12 yrs) 10-20 drops, 1-3 times per day, for a maximum of 3 weeks.
Treatmenst dose or children (2-5 yrs) 2-10 drops, 1-3 times per day, for a maximum of 3 weeks.
Begin with small doses to ensure that you have no reaction to the herb.
Dilute the glycerite in a mouthful of water. Do not mix with milk. Shake well before use.
For long-term treatment, take 6 days out of 7.
