This salve was made using fresh herbs from our garden with a new baby's skin in mind. It soothes irritated buttocks, heat rash and mommy's sore nipples. Very emollient, it was designed specifically to soften the sensitive skin of newborns. Mallow and marshmallow were selected because they are emollient, cicatrizant and not at all irritating or toxic. BIO BABY is used mainly for diaper rash (irritated buttocks) and cracked and irritated nipples due to nursing. It can be applied as prevention (on sensitive buttocks and breasts) or treatment (apply a thick layer of salve during diaper changes or between nursing sessions. Since this salve does not contain any herbs that are contraindicated internally for children, there is no danger of breastfeeding without first washing the nipple.

Just remember to remove any excess so that the baby does not choke!
